TOULSON&HARVEY first performed together in 1999 as a couple of vicars in the pantomime Beauty and the Beast. They followed this with clowns in Durrenmatt’s The Visit (Edinburgh, London & Milan ‘00/01), sworn enemies in Shakespeare’s The Tempest (London ‘03), and a mixture of the three in Erdman’s The Suicide (Milan ‘03).
Their first performance as a double act was TOULSON&HARVEY are Something His Highness Finds Funnier, (London ‘04). Followed by TOULSON&HARVEY are The Personalities, (London ‘05).
They have appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe each year since 2005, being nominated for the Perrier Newcomers Award that year (as well as the Fringe's tallest double act).
They are regular performers at The Hen and Chickens (Islington) and The Canal Cafe (Regents Canal).
